What our patrons are saying about "Winnie the Pooh"...

Thank you for such a wonderful performance.  My students are still talking about it!  We are so glad we got to go.

Lori Craig - Amarillo

The Amarillo Little Theatre Academy is very excited to present Winnie the Pooh as its next Academy production.

Winnie the Pooh is Christopher Robin's fat little "bear of very little brain" who would like to drift peacefully through life, humming tunes and stopping frequently to eat "a little something." However, he finds himself involved in all sorts of frantic adventures and assisted by such friends as the dismal Eeyore, nervous Piglet, wise Owl and frenzied Rabbit. Pooh's intentions are always the best, but his passion for honey keeps getting him into trouble. When friend Piglet gets roped into Kanga's household and Kanga starts bathing him (with soap!) and forcing down spoonfuls of Strengthening Medicine, Pooh wants to fly to the rescue, but he's had so many snacks he gets stuck in the door. Filled with adventure, excitement, and lessons, it proves to be quite a day for Pooh and his friends.

The Amarillo Little Theatre Academy has assembled a terrific cast to bring this wonderful story to life. Winnie the Pooh features 32 of our talented Academy students and is being directed by Academy Director Jason Crespin. Hana Herrington serves as Assistant Director and Jenna Gibson and Libby Gibson serve as Production Assistants.

Ticket prices are $12.00 for 12 and up and $10.00 for under 12. Tickets go on sale to ALT members on December 22nd and to the general public on December 29th.
