When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that results in a tremendous peach… and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Suddenly, James finds himself in the center of the gigantic peach and on a dangerous voyage among human-sized insects with equally oversized personalities.

James & the Giant Peach featured 67 Academy students and is directed by Academy Director Harrison Stringer. Academy instructors Austen Jones and Beth Alexander served as Music Director and Choreographer, respectively. This kooky cast of characters was brought to life with Costume Design by Tiffany Laur, and the Scenic Design by Tana Roberson brought the audience right into the heart of this epic peach. Rounding out the production team were Krystal Burns as Assistant Director and Carla Fristoe and Tres Norris as Production Assistants.
