Built in 1957, ALT’s historic Allen Shankles Mainstage is located at 2019 Civic Circle and is the original theatre facility. This beautiful complex houses ALT’s 453 seat mainstage auditorium, administrative offices, box-office, scene shop, costume storage and two state-of-the-art dance studios.

ALT’s Adventure Space, located at 2751 Civic Circle, is a flexible black box theatre space which can seat up to 180 patrons. A far more intimate space than the Mainstage, the productions in this space cater to a more mature and discerning audience.
Located within the same facility are ALT’s Theatre Academy Classrooms A, B and C. These classrooms are large, multi-purpose spaces that are used for our theatre classes as well as rehearsal space used by ALT’s Theatre Academy.
Both of ALT’s facilities are easily accessible and have ample, free parking to accommodate all theatre patrons, including those with disabilities. Any ALT patron requiring special seating or other type of consideration should contact ALT’s Box Office staff for assistance. ALT’s Mainstage facility also features listening devices for patrons with hearing impairment. It is important to us that every ALT patron feels welcome, comfortable, and included while visiting our facilities!
